The research project entitled ‘Global psychotropic medication use and associated neurological outcomes’ aims to explore global patterns of psychotropic medication use with international big data from various countries.

The research project aims to perform a multinational pharmacoepidemiologic study in order to examine the mental health effects of the COVID-19 pandemic across vulnerable groups, including people with established psychiatric disorders including dementia and neurodevelopmental disorders.

Het onderzoek richt zich op de invloed van een CDSS op de medicatieveiligheid en de rol van de ziekenhuisapotheker. We onderzoeken oa de invloed van het CDSS op het aantal en soort consulten door ziekenhuisapotheker, de invloed van het CDSS op medicatiefouten bij levercirrhose patienten en de mogelijkheid om CDSS in te zetten bij intoxicaties.
