Promotie onderzoek

1. To study the impact of inflammation on midazolam pharmacokinetics in critically ill covid-19 patients.
2. To study the impact of continuous renal replacement therapy on target attainment and pharmacokinetics of drugs in critically ill patients.

Use population PK/PD modeling approach and consider evolving resistance development to better understand the development of drug resistance in anti-cancer treatments and to optimize and individualize anti-cancer treatment.

Drug repositioning is the application of existing drugs to new indications. We want to find out if it is possible to find new potentially effective drugs against individual tumors based on their unique gene expression patterns.

Treosulfan is increasingly used in pediatric allogeneic HSCT. Pharmacokinetic data in children is sparse. Also the relationship with acute and late toxicity and clinical outcome is not clear yet. Our aim is to establish a popPK model, investiate the relationship between treosulfan exposure and outcome and to acquire knowledge about the acute and late side effects. 

Het doel van dit onderzoek is de behandeling van longkanker verder te individualiseren en vroeg in de therapie te kunnen voorspellen wie reageert op immunotherapie.
