Promotie onderzoek

Kwaliteitsverbeteronderzoek naar veilige toediening van parenteralia op verpleegafdelingen. Dit betreft o.a. onderzoek naar het verbeteren van de effectiviteit van de dubbelcheck. Zo wordt gekeken hoe het risico-gestuurd uitvoeren van de dubbelcheck geïmplementeerd kan worden en wat de effecten zijn van risico-gestuurde uitvoering van de dubbelcheck.

My research focuses on the occurence of nocebo-effects in statin-intolerant. We try to identify patients who are statin-intolerant and that suffer from these effects. We hope that by identifying patients affected by the nocebo effect and allowing them to experientially understand its impact through an N=1 study design, they will experience fewer side effects from their statin treatment. This may help prevent the need to switch to expensive PCSK9 inhibitors.
 

Cost benefit analysis clinical medication reviews. Follow up of interventions from clinical pharmacists. Medication information needs of hospitalized patients.
