Het doel van dit onderzoek is het onderzoeken welke immunologische en immunofarmacologische diagnostiek kan worden gebruikt om immunotherapie van longkanker te verbeteren.

A prospective observational PK/PD to study the target attainment for β-lactam antibiotics in critically ill pediatric patients and associated risk factors.

Binnen de oncologie wordt gepersonaliseerde therapie steeds gebruikelijker, onder andere door therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM). Dit onderzoek richt zich op gepersonaliseerde therapie met name binnen de urologische tumoren, bijvoorbeeld door een voedselinterventie studie of onderzoek van intrapatiëntvariatie in correlatie met therapiesucces.  

Naast het genotype zijn er andere factoren die van invloed zijn op de absorptie, distributie, metabolisme en excretie van medicijnen. Deze invloeden kunnen resulteren in een mismatch tussen fenotype en genotype. Het is dus belangrijk dat wij genotype kunnen suplementeren met een minimaal invasieve vorm van fenotypering. Doormiddel van cel representatieve Extracellulaire blaasjes in het bloed willen wij de expressie van pharmacogenen bepalen om personalized medicine te bevorderen  

The aim of this project is to achieve more effective patient treatments with antibiotics by quantifying the concentrations at the site of infection with minimal sample volumes. To enable quantification of antibiotics at the site of infection, multiple assays should be developed and validated in these infected matrices, such as synovial fluid, synovial tissue, bone, and vitreous humor. Furthermore, the focus will be on small-volume samples and more patient friendly, and sustainable sample preparations.
